MackSolo Team Update – Day 122✈️ 🌍
Yesterday, Mack arrived in #Anchorage, #alaska, #USA 🇺🇸, where he was received with open arms by John Dahlen from the Alaska Airmen's Association, one of the largest General Aviation communities in the country. His expertise and that of other local aviators has been invaluable to the Macksolo and Flyzolo endeavours and their flights through this breathtakingly beautiful, but equally remote part of the world. It's not for nothing it is also known as "The Last Frontier" 🏔😬.
Mack had some well-deserved rest from his Mackinson Crusoe adventure meanwhile 😂. No haircut yet though...We can't help but think that Mack is trying to compete with John on the hairstyle, but it'll take a while before he can challenge his beard 🧔♀️🤣.
Sharky 🦈✈️ on the other hand, had all its preventive maintenance 🔧, is happily topped up with fuel (generously offered by the Alaska Airmen's Association - thank you again 🙏! ), and is totally ready for the rest of the adventure 💪. If all goes according to plan, they are taking off shortly for #Ketchikan. Let's wish them blue skies and tailwinds for the rest of, what has been, an epic journey already! 😅
