MackSolo Team Update – Day 100 ✈️ 🌍
On the 100th day into his journey - and after a 5-week bureaucratic delay in #Dubai - Mack has all the permits he needs to enter #Pakistan. Last night, Mack and Sharky were packed 🧳, checked ✅ and ready to roll, but Mack pulled the plug this morning.
Heavy temporary rains 🌧 were forecasted for his arrival time in Karachi... We are now July and #monsoon rains have started in Pakistan and #India. Over the past few weeks, they have been 2,5 times above average downfall.
So, all Mack can do is keep checking the weather forecasts, #TAFS as pilots know them, and hope that there is a window tomorrow. If not, our next worry already is the Muslim #Eid holiday coming up in two days, when everything might just be coming to a grinding halt...
We really cannot believe the #obstacles and #challenges that keep being thrown at Mack…🙃🥴 If this keeps going, Mack will have no other option but to have a #haircut 💈if he still wants to be able to see out of his ✈️ cockpit 😂. Something he pledged not to do for the entirety of his journey though... 🙈
