MackSolo Team Update – Day 99 ✈️ 🌍
For those who lost the plot 😅😂: Mack is still in #Dubai and he had to change his route for the second time now. His next legs should be #Pakistan, #India, #Nepal, #Bangladesh, #Thailand, #Vietnam, #Taiwan, #SouthKorea, then northerly via Japan. The #route included China at first, but assuming there is a very high chance a flight permit will not come through either (based on earlier experience), we have also dropped this country from the route now.
Complex endeavours like these require sorting one issue at a time: visa, permits, health rules & regulations, weather, the pilot's health, the airplane's condition... Every aspect is critical. At the falling of just one of those dominos, everything can change at the drop of a hat. On top of that, and unfortunately, the world 🌍 has become a very different place compared to a year ago 😔 🙃 when Zara was doing her around-the-world flight.
Change of route = Change of flags 🏁. These are Sharky's new #flags. Mack's had this a few times now: ordering and ditching those #stickers. But, believe it or not, he is packing his bags 🧳 right now, because... If all goes according to plan, Mack is taking off for Pakistan tomorrow morning! Insh'Allah! Wohoooo! 💪💫
We are not out of the woods yet though 🤨, many more hurdles to jump, but let's take it one step at the time! Fingers crossed everyone! 🤞
