MackSolo Team Update β Day 63 βοΈ π
"When it looks too good to be true... it probably is"
You all know the saying, yes? Now let's apply it to Mack's journey.
Since his 7-week delay at the start of his journey, all apparently seems to have been relatively smooth sailing. Or not? What do you think?
Often perhaps it looks like a "swimming swan" π¦’ story - peaceful and elegant on the surface, when in fact, we are heavily peddling underneath... So it's not always as peaceful as it looks behind the scenes π
π.
A few recent examples: The solar panels of his cockpit came loose. Also, Mack suffered some food poisoning π¬. Was it the fresh fruit plate? The meat? Water? We will never know. It just happened, so we had to delay the flight by a day and allow Mack to rest and recover.
So whatever Mack's huge smile or the beautiful pictures may suggest, all is not bright and beautiful on the journey. Remember the π¦’ π. That is why we regularly state in our posts "If all goes according to plan".
That being said: if all goes according to plan, Mack will be flying to his antipodal and back tomorrow π π.
Fingers crossed for Mack everyoneπ€! Wish him a safe journey, which you can follow (with live tracking and live arrivals board updates, as and when mishaps occur π) on his website:
