Formation flight under stunning blue Slovakian skies yesterday☀️. Look at that shape! 🦈 ✈️!
It was also time for the very exciting unboxing📦 of the immersion suit 💪. This is an invaluable piece of kit to fly over long icy water-legs such as those near the Bering Straits or the Trans-Atlantic crossing. It multiplies chances of survival manyfold in case of (touch wood🌳 not ever to happen) an emergency ditch in the sea.
The next piece of the puzzle for long water-legs is immersion training: learning how to get out of an immersed airplane. It usually happens in a swimming pool 🐟 and that is exactly what is still coming Mack's way this week!
