Age at time of record: 17 years, 2 months and 2 days/previous record holder, Travis Ludlow: 18 years and 5 months (150 days) -> Mack broke the record by approx 1 year and 3 months

Guinness World Records requirements: Mack had to include one pair of antipodals (points diametrically perfectly opposite to each other on the globe). On 27 May he crossed the first antipodal: a point near Rodrigues Island (Madagascar ) in the Indian Ocean. On 9 August he visited the second antipodal: Isla Socorro (Mexico).
Safety: Safety: Mack received advice from experienced pilots at all times as well as assistance from his ground team based in several locations across the globe:
https://macksolo.com/meet-the-team/ . He was in contact with the flight operations team through the Iridium Communications satellite system and via YB Tracking. He had a personal locator beacon (PLB) with satellite connection, a survival suit and a life-raft in case of landing in water. His aircraft also had an emergency parachute.
