MackSolo Team Update – Day 135 ✈️ 🌍
Ever more north, Mack was flying to #Canada, #Montreal, Aéroport Montréal St-Hubert, yesterday. And, oooops, a glitch in the paperwork: customs & immigration were not informed timely of his arrival 😬... Mack was told to remain in his airplane, cockpit closed as long as the officers had not made it to where he was parked. It was though 28° and he was sat under a glass cockpit in full sun 🙈 😅...
Let's be honest, after all the #challenges, & difficulties Mack overcame, did we really want a slightly overcooked Mack 🥩? How is he supposed to pass his message and inspire other youngsters to follow their dreams if he is "A point", or, "slightly overdone"?
Luckily, Mack overcame this new challenge with zest, and decided that opening his cockpit was well worth a potential prison sentence for entering the country illegally... 😂🤣Just as well the officers arrived much quicker than announced. And, no harm done. Mack had enough beans left after this impromptu sauna session for a formation flight and a taste of the local delicacies.
Fingers crossed for smooth winds and safe flights all the way to his destination now. "May all the odds be ever in his favour" before the last difficult stretch over icy Atlantic waters 🥶 and the final legs of his epic #trip?!? 💪 Luckily, Mack already did the Atlantic crossing twice with his dad, so not a new route for him.
